Meet Dr. Kyle Luvisa

Dr. Kyle Luvisa is a plastic surgeon with a background shaped by some of the country’s most respected academic institutions and surgical training programs. Originally from San Diego, California, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a Master of Public Health at George Washington University. While living in Washington, D.C., Dr. Luvisa discovered his passion for direct patient care and pursued his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he met his business partner, Dr. Peter Wirth.

Advanced Surgical Training at UCLA

Dr. Luvisa completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UCLA, where he trained under world-renowned leaders in the field. During residency, he gained extensive experience managing complex reconstructive cases while also developing a particular expertise in facial and body aesthetic surgery. His training shaped a refined approach to cosmetic results by applying the principles of reconstruction—precision, balance, and meticulous planning—to aesthetic enhancement.

During his years at UCLA, Dr. Luvisa frequently visited Dr. Wirth in Madison, Wisconsin, where he also met Dr. Ellen Via. Over six years of rigorous training and collaboration, the three physicians developed a shared vision for a practice grounded in surgical mastery, integrity, and personalized care. Their connection to Madison—and the warmth and vibrancy of the community—ultimately inspired them to establish Madison Plastic Surgery together.

Opening Timeline

Dr. Luvisa is the first co-founder opening Madison Plastic Surgery in July 2026, with Dr. Wirth and Dr. Via joining in July 2027.
