Dr. Ellen Via is a plastic surgeon and Co-Founder of Madison Plastic Surgery. She is board-eligible and serves as Chief Resident at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she has performed more than 1,300 reconstructive and aesthetic procedures. Her expertise spans facial rejuvenation, breast enhancement, and body contouring, guided by a philosophy rooted in artistry, precision, and evidence-based care.

Advanced Training and Surgical Experience

As Chief Resident at UW–Madison, Dr. Via has developed extensive hands-on experience across both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.

She is also an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Aesthetic Society, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Education and Background

Dr. Via earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. She graduated summa cum laude from the College of William & Mary with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

Originally from Virginia, Dr. Via has built her career in Madison and values the unique blend of academic excellence and community spirit that defines the region.

Joining Madison Plastic Surgery

Following her aesthetic surgery fellowship at UT Southwestern under the tutelage of Drs. William Adam and Jeffrey Kenkel, Dr. Via will join Madison Plastic Surgery full-time in July 2027.
